Ready for NIS2 ?
Tips for improving compliancy in a pragmatic way
NIS2 is a pivotal piece of legislation issued by the European Union, aimed at fortifying cybersecurity measures across its member states. This directive serves as a cornerstone in the EU's strategy to enhance resilience and response capabilities in the face of growing cyber threats. NIS2 applies broadly within the EU, encompassing a variety of sectors deemed critical for the economy and society. These sectors include energy, transport, banking, health, digital infrastructure, and public administration, among others.
Several organisations in Europe are already implementing the updated Network and Information Security Directive (NIS2), in force since January 2023 and to be integrated in local legislation by October 2024.
With the prospect of fines of €10 million or 2% of an offending organisation’s annual worldwide turnover, whichever is greater, and an explicit obligation to hold members of management bodies personally responsible for breaches of their duties to ensure compliance with NIS2 obligations, stakes are now quite high.
We invite you for a round table & dinner in Kasteel Ter Ham in Steenokkerzeel on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 to learn about The Network and Information Systems Directive (NIS2). This round table is also an opportunity to network with CIO's, CISO's and other digital leaders.
