--- title: Blogs | Luc Brouwers description: ‪Luc Brouwers is a seasoned digital leader who has experienced three waves of digitalisation (ERP & CRM systems, the internet and the connected world) in the front line. As CIO at Balta and at Ideal Standard he managed departments of 60 and 200 IT experts respectively. As partner at Deloitte he managed the pan-European SAP implementation of Sumitomo Chemical, Monsanto, GE Bayer Silicones and JTI, leading project teams of up to 250 people. As managing Partner at Atos Consulting and Director at Altran he led consulting departments of up to 120 people. At CIONET he has been delivering a virtual event per week. He was working closely with sponsors, shaping their events, writing content, finding and preparing speakers, setting up event pages, writing invitations, streaming videos, writing blogs and adding posts to the social media. Luc is an engineer in nuclear physics, MBA, speaks fluently four languages and enjoys learning new things every week. He enjoys using his brains and his hands. He is a “marshal” (ENTJ profile), so don’t expect patience to be his strongest characteristic.
